Unusable Due to Strong Musty Odor – No Resolution
"I purchased this travel bag for €99 and regret the decision. Upon arrival, the bag had a strong, musty odor that resembled moisture damage or improper storage. This was not a mild “new product” smell – it was a persistent, unpleasant odor that made the bag effectively unusable. I aired it out for weeks and left it untouched for months, but the smell never disappeared. A product in this price range should not arrive in such condition. Whether caused by moisture exposure, storage issues, or manufacturing problems, the result is the same: the bag is not fit for normal use. What makes the situation worse is the complete lack of accountability from the seller. I contacted them multiple times, formally invoked my statutory consumer rights under EU law, and set a clear deadline for resolution. After one response stating that the matter was “under review,” the company simply stopped replying. More than six weeks passed with total silence. I ultimately withdrew from the contract and requested a refund. Again: no response. Selling a product in this condition is disappointing. Ignoring a formal defect claim and refund request is unacceptable. Based on both product quality and customer service, I cannot recommend this company."
