"I got a youth backpack 3 years ago and it was perfect: liner inside, a place for keys where I put an AirTag, and overall great material thickness. It still looked okay, but some worn-out parts could leak in Vancouver weather, so I decided to upgrade. The one I got this summer has Walmart quality and I really don't think it will survive a year of school. No liner inside except for the laptop sleeve, I can clearly see through the material, and the zipper is plastic. I was a loyal customer but wasn't expecting this drop in quality on the same backpack model."
"This backpack is very stylish for a kids backpack and I love the pattern of the dinosaurs. The zipper operates smoothly. However it is missing a key feature that normally sets nicer backpacks apart: the bottom of the backpack is NOT reinforced. In fact, the signature red striped lining is only on the inner side of the bag with the laptop sleeve and the remainder is completely unlined. At this price point I would expect a bag with better construction. I got it on sale so I will give it three stars and use it, but can't say I'll repurchase."
"I purchased this bag based on the quality of my previous bag. I was shocked when I recieved it, the bag is no longer fully lined, the material feels thin and flimsy. The bag feels like a counterfeit version of the quality we had grown to expect. So very disappointed."
"Bags are significantly thinner than the ones purchased a few years ago. I don’t expect it to last my son more than 1 year. The customer service agent I spoke to was also very rude and unhelpful. He was unwilling to help with the exchange, not the customer service they used to be either."

"I bought one of these last year for my daughter’s 2nd grade year. For kindergarten and 1st grade we’d tried pottery barn bags that I had hoped would last for a while but each time something fell apart. Kids aren’t easy on them, so I was angry - just resigned to buying a new bag each year. Then came this one. She wore it everyday for all of 2nd grade. Shes getting ready to start 3rd grade tomorrow and guess what - it still looks BRAND NEW. It’s easy to clean out, the pattern is cute and she gets compliments all the time. She’s really proud of it and likes to wear it. I’m so happy I found something that actually lasts!"
"Cute design. Unfortunately, the netting on the side pocket wasn’t properly sewn on, so it started separating from the elastic band on my child’s first day of school. So there’s a hole in a brand-new backpack."
