"I was really satisfied that I had found a functional and cute backpack. That joy lasted for about 6 months. The outer fabric of the backpack started peeling. When I contacted customer support for warranty, I was told that this kind of damage is wear and tear. $150+tax for such poor fabric quality is way below expectation. Beware."

Visually, the black version looks extremely clean and mature. It avoids the “high school backpack” vibe completely. The silhouette is structured without being boxy, and the branding is subtle enough that it works equally well in an office, airport, café, coworking space, or daily city use. It has that understated premium aesthetic that Herschel has gotten very good at recently. What really makes the bag impressive is the organization system. You get: a padded and fleece-lined laptop compartment for 15–16" devices, multiple internal organizer sleeves, mesh zip compartments, a front admin section with cable and accessory organization, a key clip, dual water bottle pockets, a hidden shoulder strap pocket for earbuds, a luggage trolley sleeve for travel, and intelligently separated compartments so your tech doesn’t become one giant mess. "OBSESSED. I purchased this back in 2022 (before it was named the kaslo daypack and when it was slightly cheaper) and it's really held up through years of weekly work travel (and some personal travel). It's slim, sleek (prevents me from overstuffing it but boy do I try). I love that it has both an elastic water bottle pocket and a non elastic one. There's great pockets in the outer sleeve (but not too many) and the outer most pocket is perfect for storing things I need easily accessible like my kindle, phone etc. I think it probably has another 4+ years in it - hasn't shown any signs of wear & tear. Can't recommend it enough."

"I invested in this bag as I travel more now with work and needed something that holds a lot of items while staying slimline so I don't get caught our by the airline sizing boxes. It fits my laptop, portable monitor, iPad, two mobile phones, keys, wallet, glasses, over ear noise cancelling headphones, a book, water bottle, snacks, cable and all the other stuff I needed with me. The straps are comfortable, it sits on top of my suitcase securely and the grey colour is professional but not too boring. Highly recommend this backpack!"
